When we look back to our story that we have lived, it is astonishing to see how our journey that began with an unwavering commitment to deliver finest plywood in the country – grew into something bigger than we had imagined it to be.
All of it started from a small company that we named, Savitri Woods. Established at Hoshiarpur in 2003, we built a raw material procurement unit to supply raw resources used in making plywood and panels. As it only takes time for new chapters to begin, things at Savitri Woods evolved and the foundation years showed us how we were merely getting started.
Savitri Woods to Wigwam
Steadily, Savitri Woods experienced a progression and turned to be the largest supplier of unprocessed material for the plywood and panel industry in North India. In the middle of growth and learnings taking place, we discovered an era of change. The organised Indian market entered a shifting phase from 2008 to 2012. The hiccups and opportunities revolving around made us evaluate our vision and what we stand for. It was then in 2018 that Wigwam Plywoods originated through introspection and the desire to deeply resonate with the market’s needs.
With the fire in us to redefine the industry’s landscape, we launched products for the plywood and panel industry that reflected the same commitment and ideology in our hearts.
